Jaguar Land Rover India partners with Tata Power to develop EV infrastructure

Jaguar Land Rover India has announced its partnership with Tata Power to develop end-to-end charging solutions for its range of electrified vehicles (EVs), soon to be launched in India.

The partnership targets I-PACE customers, along with future buyers of other battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles release by the company.

Tata Power will provide a range of alternating current and direct current chargers, ranging from 7kW to 50kW capacity. These will be installed across 27 retail outlets and residences in 24 cities.

Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover India said: “The partnership with Tata Power will be a tremendous value addition for Jaguar Land Rover customers as it provides a one-stop solution to their charging needs and also provides easy accessibility to the wide network of public charging infrastructure being set up by Tata Power across India.

“This tie-up is one step forward in creating the right ecosystem enabling a simple and hassle free charging experience for owners of our first Electric Vehicle, the Jaguar I-PACE, which makes its debut in India later this year.”
