Neste provides renewable jet fuel to Zurich Airport for Davos event

Renewable jet fuel producer Neste is providing its product to Zurich Airport during the World Economic Forum 2020 in Davos, Switzerland.

It claims this is the first time sustainable jet fuel is available in the country - produced from renewable waste and residue raw materials, it has up to 80% smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional jet fuels.

Neste is working with Jet Aviation and Zurich Airport to blend its fuel with fossil jet fuel, allowing business jets operating in Zurich during the World Economic Forum event to use it to reduce their emissions.

Thorsten Lange, Neste’s Executive Vice President for Renewable Aviation, said: "As the world leaders gather at the World Economic Forum, we are proud to cooperate with Jet Aviation and Zurich Airport and offer World Economic Forum visitors our sustainable aviation fuel, which contributes to efficient reduction of aviation-related greenhouse gas emissions."
