Vestas wins new wind turbine orders across the globe

The Danish company has announced a series of new orders for wind turbines and service contracts.

In Russia, it has secured a 252 MW order for three wind energy projects from the Wind Energy Development Fund. The order will comprise 60 V126-4.2 MW wind turbines.

In Mexico, Vestas has received a 30 MW order for the supply and installation of 15 V120-2.0 MW wind turbines as well as a service agreement.

In the USA, the company has won two contracts. The first is for a mix of V110-2.0 MW and V136-4.2 MW wind turbines. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines as well as a 10-year service agreement. The second is an order for 149 MW of turbines, consisting of 12 V110-2.0 MW turbines and 57 V120-2.2 MW.

Vestas has also secured two orders in China, one for 55 MW that includes supply of 25 V110-2.2 MW turbines as well as a 2-year service agreement. The second is a 51 MW order  that includes supply of 23 V120-2.2 MW as well as a 2-year service agreement.
