Latest Jobs – Project & Contract Support for UK East – Energy Jobline

Do you want to be part of a new regional set-up, responsible for optimising project execution and managing contracted work to reduce costs, improve quality and increase the safety of our wind farms?

Join us and become Project & Contract Support in our Regional Support (UK East) department where you'll be responsible for standardising and facilitating project execution and for the day-to-day management of all key contracts across our five current East Coast sites. You'll be the primary point of contact for our sites and the Group's support functions in these vital areas, helping us to operate more safely and reach our yield and cost targets.

Your key tasks will be to:

  • Initiate and lead meetings with project teams and communicate the customer's time, quality and cost requirements to drive productivity and performance.
  • Ensure that projects are adequately resourced on site, including vessel capacity, facility space, marine coordination, operational control and communications/IT equipment, etc.
  • Prepare and execute project plans for small projects on site where no project team has been appointed (duties include scoping the project, creating a time plan, securing resources and managing the budget)
  • Ensure contracts are in place to deliver demand across East Coast sites (contracts include logistics, facility management, offshore inspections, training, parts, etc.)
  • Manage all key contracts, including calling off contracted scope, ensuring contractors comply with customer requirements, receive site-based induction and are escorted on site as required.

Furthermore, you'll drive safety by ensuring that projects and contractors are compliant with site health, safety and environment requirements and are aligned with our safety culture. You'll be responsible for go/no-go decisions for all projects and contractors mobilising on site.

Your competences include that you:

  • Are highly focused on safety and have an excellent working knowledge of HSE/CDM regulations
  • Have experience with project management/project delivery
  • Are adaptable to change, can work under pressure and have a can-do attitude
  • Are able to communicate clearly with all audiences and build/maintain strong relationships
  • Are assertive and able to make sound decisions based on available information.

Furthermore, you speak and write English fluently and are proficient in MS Office Products.
