Do you have experience in managing an analytical team in the retail gas or electricity sector – ideally Pricing? A growing independent retail energy supplier are looking for an experienced Pricing Manager to join their Commercial team, to drive pricing strategy to help shape the business in the next phase of commercial planning. The Pricing Manager must have a high level of analytical energy experience and the ability to help develop and manage members of the pricing team. Job Responsibilities:
• Support management and team members with data analytics and relevant reporting
• Maximize revenue
• Maintenance of electricity pricing models including NHH & HH customers
• Pricing matrix creation and distribution
• Provide data for monthly reporting
• Ensure timely production of data for Elexon ‐ LSP AQ review analysis etc.
• Annual AQ review management and submission of data
• Work closely with Senior Analyst & Commercial team to make commercial decisions.
• Work with Ops Teams to improve forecasting and manage short & medium-term demand.
• Probabilistic and deterministic modelling on the short, medium & long-term trading horizon.
• Modelling UK gas and electricity flows collating UK & Global market fundamentals
• Analysing data to make trading & pricing recommendations and develop dynamic strategies

Experience Required:
• Analytical experience within retail energy
• Previous experience of managing a small team
• Professional, organised, pro‐active approach with excellent communication skills
• Ability to form good working relationships with internal stakeholders
• Proven track record with data collection and collation
• Creation and maintenance of process documentation
• Computer literate to include competency in all Microsoft Office programmes
• Proficient in MS Office, Access, VBA and SQL
• Excellent numeracy skills to handle complex data sets and develop robust solutions
