Inspired Energy snaps up TELCA winner in £1.37m deal

Lancashire-based procurement company Inspired Energy has bought a fellow TPI in a deal worth £1.37 million.

Square One Utilities, based in Boldon, Tyne and Wear, also provides energy consultancy and procurement services to a range of corporate customers, with a strong presence in the education and manufacturing sectors.

The company recently won the Best Customer Service award at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA) in London.

Mark Dickinson, CEO of Inspired Energy said: “We are delighted to conclude the acquisition of Squareone, which is a highly complementary addition to Inspired’s core Corporate Division.
