Our client seeks a Key Account Manager to join the sales department. The role is responsible for winning and account management of I&C accounts in the UK marketplace. Further responsibilities include the sales of added value services and the creation of energy solution sales leads for Energy as a Service sales channel. The Key Account Channel is of strategic importance and the role requires experienced individuals who can demonstrate the very best in sales excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on key business KPIs which include gross margin contribution
- Develop a strong strategic pipeline that delivers both contracted margin and volume
- Actively create qualified leads for the Flexibility and Energy as a Service solutions channel
- Manage and renew a portfolio of key accounts
- Actively use SaleForce.com to report on pipeline and performance
- Successfully manage internal stakeholders
- Deliver consistent and regular feedback on tenders, products and competition
Person Specification
- Thorough understanding of UK Gas & Power market and the sale of flexible contracts
- Proven track record in Account Management
- Proven track record of successful prospecting
- Working experience with a major UK supplier
- Minimum 2yrs experience of working with large UK TPIs in the B2B marketplace
Salary - £50,000 - £60,000
