Job Title: Business Development Executive (energy procurement)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE + commission
Location: London (office based)
Summary:

A leading energy management consultancy are looking for an office based Business Development Executive for their expanding sales team in their south-west London offices. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating their own leads and pipeline, selling energy procurement and DSR and FFR services to both SMEs and I&C customers. You will have a track record of creating your own opportunities to deliver high value sales and achieving targets. Responsibilities will include:
- Generating your own sales either from a database or self-sourced and building a healthy pipeline.
- Delivering a high level of customer service, with the ability to educate the customer.
- Proactively developing and growing new leads in the I&C sector.
- Managing both SME and I&C clients (focussing on I&C).
- Forging and developing B2B relationships with a view to converting into new sales opportunities.
- Present sales reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
- Self-motivated, with drive, persuasiveness and tenacity.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience working in a similar role either for an energy broker or supplier.
- Track record of achieving high numbers £££ and of achieving weekly/monthly targets.
- Positive and can-do attitude.
- Able to identify and develop strong relationships with prospective customers at a corporate level.
- Strong interpersonal communication and networking skills.
- Excellent influencing, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Well organised and able to make to make decisions under pressure.
