Chris has been with the water industry for nearly 18 years, having begun his career with West of Scotland Water back in the year 2000.

He has seen the merger of the 3 former water authorities in Scotland come together to form Scottish Water in 2002, and in 2006 joined the retail arm of Scottish Water, Scottish Water Business Stream, in preparation for the Scottish water market deregulating in 2008.

Chris left Business Stream in 2012 and joined United Utilities Scotland shortly after them gaining their license to trade in the Scottish water market and helped grow the business to become the 2nd largest water retailer in Scotland in little over 18 months.

In 2016 Chris left United Utilities to join Kinect Energy, his first ever role in the water consultancy industry, to head up the water division of the business and help drive the strategy and growth of business in the lead up to and post deregulation of the English water market in 2017.
