Andrew McMullen

Andrew is a Senior Manager at the LEGO Group, responsible for its renewable energy portfolio and sustainable buildings programme. He also leads its initiative to reduce scope 3 CO2 emissions across the LEGO Group’s supply chain. Andrew’s focus areas help the LEGO Group deliver on its corporate responsibility Planet Promise commitments.

Andrew takes an interest in how creativity and innovative thinking can be encouraged through playful activities. This approach stems from his exposure to the benefits of play whilst working for the LEGO Group. He believes these skills are key for individuals who are passionate about solving environmental issues.

Before his role at the LEGO Group, he spent time as a consultant developing Royal Mail's energy efficiency and data management systems.

Prior to that he spent 6 years at Tesco PLC as an energy manager – delivering CAPEX projects related to resource efficiency, employee engagement programmes and incorporating energy management into the facilities maintenance function.

Before energy management he held roles in health & safety, building management systems and refrigeration.
