Green Running

Green Running is an innovative, artificial intelligence company who are on a mission to democratise data; analysing vast amounts of data from electricity usage and handing it back to the user in a powerful form that helps them truly understand their home and actively create positive change.

Green Running have developed and patented machine learning algorithms to analyse and disaggregate electricity consumption. Their Verv hub provides domestic users with disaggregated, real-time and household specific electricity consumption data, letting them know exactly what appliances are costing when they are in use.

Verv is able to provide the user with built-in safety features to notify them when appliances are left on, and fault detection to predict if an appliance is about to break, keeping homes safe and efficient. Data is analysed and presented to them on an intuitive app available for both smartphone and tablet.

Verv's technological sophistication and consequent data collection capabilities makes it valuable to both electricity stakeholders, and appliance vendors/retailers, enhancing Green Running’s revenue potential as a business and strengthening their blockchain offering. This is reflected by Green Running already having secured £2m seed investment towards the development of Verv.
