Job of the week – Distributed Energy Consultant – McLean Ross
Our client, a market leading Utilities company are seeking a Distributed Energy Expert to be based out of their South East Offices. The role will require someone with a strong technical background, coupled with the ability to engage clients directly providing a solution based consultancy service.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in solution based sales (Solar/LED/Power Generation/Energy Storage)
- Background in Distributed Energy Engineering
- Ability to be adaptable
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits as part of the sales process and technically scope opportunity – ability to estimate cost, O&M, energy and carbon benefits from any interventions
- Write engineering solutions reports for inclusion into client proposals
- Present at Board Level on technical solutions
- Manage initial technical audits or take a lead on detailed technical work as part of the pre-contract customer journey
