  • £30,000 - £35,000 Plus uncapped commissions

Are you smart, articulate, hardworking and ambitious? We are looking for an Internal Business Development Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for preparing I&C proposals and working with our network of partners to drive success. Additionally, you will have the scope to recruit your own partners focusing in the I&C space or sign customers directly. Sales experience is beneficial but equally you may be a frustrated billing or pricing analyst that is looking for the support to grow your career.

You will be part of an elite team of internal BDMs who are adept at adding value to quotes, seeing the angles and creating relationships with partners and prospects from within the I&C market.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Energy and Gas markets
  • Support the existing partners on I&C proposals
  • Deliver sales growth by helping partners close the I&C opportunities they bring to the business
  • Deliver new sales growth from the direct I&C marketutilising your own network
  • Manage new business sales process from initial prospecting through negotiation to contract.
  • Finding the angles required to add value to the customer proposition

Skills and Experience Required

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Energy and Gas markets
  • Ability to prepare proposals
  • Deliver new business sales from supporting the network of channel partners
  • Deliver new business sales from Direct prospects and converting enquiries
  • Strong drive to succeed and willingness to work hard, you will be rewarded!
  • Numerate with ability to solve detailed problems and use own initiative
  • Ability to have fun!
