Energy consultancy creates 250 jobs in Manchester

A total of 250 jobs have been created in Manchester by energy consultancy Exchange Utility.

The news comes as the company is moving to Bury centre, which is part of their aim to help more businesses save money on energy bills.

Councillor Mike Connolly, Leader of Bury Council, said: “This move secures further employment opportunities in the local area as well as increasing footfall in the town centre. We will continue to work with the team at Exchange Utility to ensure that their move is successful.”

Doors to the new office are expected to be opened next month.

Directors Kelly Ivison and John Baker added: “Our renovation of Athenaeum House on Market Street allows us to grow our talented team of 160 people to 410. Bury represented the perfect fit for our company to continue to prosper and make a real contribution to the local community.”

This is a promoted story.
