Spanish turbine manufacturer Gamesa has received an order for a wind project in Scotland.
It will provide 96 turbines with a total capacity of 239MW for the Kilgallioch wind farm next year.
The project's construction is expected to be completedĀ in 2017.
The order comes from ScottishPower Renewables and it also involves the installation, commissioning and a five-year management contract.
Keith Anderson, ScottishPower Renewables CEO said: "Kilgallioch wind farm will become our second largest wind farm in the UK and this year marks a real milestone as we approach 2GW of installed onshore wind capacity - enough to power up to nearly two million homes."
