A ‘roadmap’for energy storage in California has been created.
The aim of the document is to advance and expand on energy storage technology for the state, one of the most green in America.
The roadmap called 'Advancing and maximising the value of energy storage technology’ has been produced by three different groups involved in the energy sector including the California Energy Commission. The paper is a set of guidelines on streamlining policies and processes, lowering costs with connecting renewable energy to the grid and increasing revenue.
Energy created from renewable sources has to be used instantly, so energy storage is vital if we want more green energy.
