Carbon offsetting body welcomes first Canadian member

A trade association for carbon management and offsetting has welcomed its first Canadian member.

By joining the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA), the firm has committed to following the body’s Code of Best Practice.

Offsetters was the official supplier of carbon offsets for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games – the first carbon neutral games in Olympic history.

Dr. James Tansey, CEO of Offsetters said: “We are excited to be formally recognised as an organisation that meets internationally recognised best practices in carbon management services.”
