Barker talks up switching bills

Energy and Climate Change Minister Greg Barker has talked up switching bills as a way to save money as part of the Big Energy Week campaign to promote consumer energy savings.

According to Mr Barker, the "big snap" of cold weather UK is experiencing after a mild winter means people are worried about their bills.

"It's a timely campaign we're launching this week encouraging people to switch payment method or switch payment method, to switch their energy tariff and potentially switch their supplier to make sure that they're getting best value," he told 5live yesterday.
