USA enters nuclear deal with Ukraine
The United States will provide the Ukraine technology for nuclear research in exchange for highly enriched uranium, according to Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who met with President Obama in New York yesterday.
In exchange for the uranium, the US are offering the Ukraine new technology which will enable its scientists
to conduct studies on low-enriched uranium.
The Ukrainian President said: "The US is ready to launch production of the respective equipment for Ukraine and gradually deliver it to our research centers. All the necessary documentation will be signed, which will provide guarantees to the both parties of the agreement."
