Scottish Power set for grilling

The Energy and Climate Change Committee, Chaired by Tim Yeo MP, will hold its third evidence session on Ofgem's Retail Market Review on Tuesday 28 June 2011.

The Committee will hear from Big Six giants Centrica, ScottishPower and SSE.

The session will examine Ofgem's interim Retail Market Review and assess the viability of the regulator's initial proposals which are aimed at increasing competition and improving customer engagement through:

•Energy prices

•Making tariffs clearer and fairer,

•Enhancing competition in the market,

•Strengthening measures to increase consumer engagement, and

•Improving reporting transparency.
