Osram launch lamp with 30% more lifetime

German outfit Osram have launched the POWERTRONIC® (PTi) 35 S MINI, a lightweight 35W control gear, meaning 35W lamps can produce more efficient light.

The company, who are part of Siemens, say the light will be ideal for accent lighting applications in showrooms, museums, galleries and shops.

With 30% longer lamp life, the new technology is also said to be safer.

Osram, based in Munich achieved 70% of its €4.6 billion turnover from 2010 through energy-efficient products.
