Renewable companies team up for added value

Eco Environments has teamed up with Scottish firm Proven Energy and has been given the Value Added Reseller status as a result.

Eco Environments specialise in providing homes and businesses with renewable energy solutions, specialising in Solar Photovoltaic, wind turbines, solar thermal water heating systems and heat pumps.

David Hunt, a director at Eco Environments, said: "We are looking forward to a long and successful partnership with Proven helping the company to take its innovative and exciting range of products to customers."

Proven Energy's flagship wind turbine, the 35-2 has just been put on the Microgeneration Certification Scheme, which the industry thinks will inform the customer to make better decisions regarding renewable power generation.

Mr Hunt added: "The full MCS certification for Proven's 35-2 wind turbine is further good news as customers are becoming increasingly knowledgeable about the benefits of the Feed in Tariff scheme which allows home owners and businesses to be paid for every Kilowatt hour of electricity they generate, whether they use it or not."

Indre Vaizgelaite, small wind systems manager for RenewableUK said: "End users are beginning to recognise the importance of certification in the small wind industry. For some this means the guarantee of Feed in Tariff and for others it means peace of mind that they have invested in a quality and reliable product."
