E.ON scores high in best call centre list

Energy giant E.ON has made it into a list of the best UK call centres.

E.ON came 10th in the Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service, a poll organised by Call Centre Focus magazine.

Organisations were rated using five areas of service - timeliness, ease of use, reliability, staff knowledge and personalised service - and awarded a customer service rating in percentage terms.

E.ON scored an 89% rating, which took it into the top 10. The number one slot went for the second year running to asset management firm F&C Investments. Other companies in the top 10 were Specsavers, Dyson and Lovefilm.

Other utilities firms that made the top 50 were npower, British Gas and Southern Water.
